I saw a wonderful pine tree on the side of the road a few months back and marvelled at the shapes it made. I have translated that impression onto canvas here but painted it as a grouping instead of one tree. The background colours evolved to a sunset glow which seemed to best compliment the blue-green of the pine foliage.
