These Okanagan birch trees were painted from a photograph taken just outside of Kamloops, BC. Thre leaves and grass are richly textured. Two subsequent paintings, Birches Two and Birches Three were painted in the same style but on larger canvases. The sides are painted in gallery wrapped fashion and needs no immediate framing.
